BOOKING FEE
When you select your dream home from our array of carefully curated residences, we understand that you’re not just making a choice, but embarking on a journey. To secure your chosen space, we request a booking fee of €50. This fee isn’t just a number; it’s a symbolic gesture that marks the beginning of your adventure with 50Homes.
Why the Booking Fee?
The Booking fee serves a dual purpose: firstly, it guarantees that your chosen residence is exclusively reserved for you, ensuring that no one else can snatch away your home away from home. Secondly, it signifies your commitment to the exciting journey you’re about to undertake.
Is the Booking fee refundable?
The booking fee is part of the whole process and is non-refundable, unless the reservation payment, as well as the monthly rent payment, is made through cryptocurrency transactions. (More details in the contract. If you have any questions send us an email at contact@50homes.org )

CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and plans may change. That’s why we’ve designed our cancellation policy to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness to all members of our community. Here’s a deeper look into how our cancellation policy works:
1. Cancellation before Move-In:

Life can throw curveballs, and sometimes, plans need to be adjusted. If you find yourself needing to cancel your booking before your scheduled move-in date, please be aware of the following:
The booking fee is refunded only if the cancellation meets 2 criteria. 1) To be done 1 month before the tenant’s arrival and 2) within 2 days from the moment he makes the reservation. (In both cases, corresponding evidence is needed to meet the criteria)
Also, in case of a deposit or transfer from another bank, the transfer cost of €x is charged to the depositor, and is calculated extra to the deposit. Accordingly to the refund, 50homes incurs no additional costs.
Otherwise, the booking fee of €50 is non-refundable.
While we understand the circumstances that lead to cancellations, this fee covers administrative costs and ensures fairness to other potential residents.
2. Cancellation after Move-In:
If you’ve moved into your 50Homes residence but find that circumstances require you to cancel your booking, here’s what you should know:
The booking fee, first rent payment, and security deposit are non-refundable.
Cancellation after move-in means that the resources and efforts we’ve dedicated to accommodating you are factored into the policy. Furthermore, since our audience is Erasmus+ students, the chances of someone else being able to stay at home for the current semester are slim to none.

We’ve carefully crafted our cancellation policy to maintain fairness for both you and the 50Homes community. By adhering to this policy, we can ensure that each member of our community receives equal treatment and support.

While we hope your plans go smoothly, it’s always a good idea to plan for the unexpected. We recommend considering travel insurance to safeguard your investment and provide peace of mind in case of unforeseen events.
